Safety First

Due to the safety of our animals and clients children; infants, toddlers and/or children who are unable to follow instruction will not be permitted to handle animals directly and without assistance. This is because they may not understand the proper technique in which these animals need to be safely handled. Children unknowingly can squeeze, drop or handle these animals like a toy. The result of these actions could end up in sickness of injury of the animal being used and result in serious injuries and death.

These living animals are God's creatures and though trained can often move and have reactions of their own. We strive to have every animal on set well trained and to be behaved. Some circumstances happen that are beyond our control and our first concern is for the client (child/children in the session). We handle these situations with calmness and directness as we see fit, and if the situation cannot be resolved in a manner that is safe for all parties involved, being calm and to move safely forward with the session we will reschedule the session with the client.

Therefore, we know we must prevent these circumstances as best we can. With that being said, with guidance from the farm owner, in all situations on Hawk Creek Farm and Co. the owners will be there at each session, photographer, animal handler, and/or guided parent, the younger children may enjoy their experience by petting the animals intermittently between shots and the session times. Animals may be placed in laps (pending age and understanding directions given, and farm owner/ photographers discretion), in baskets, held by a lead/halter, or to move behinds the subject on the photo set (animals will be placed accordingly).
Hand sanitizers and wipes will be available to use accordingly and as always recommended to be used after the session.

I understand and confirm that by signing this WAIVER AND RELEASE I have given up considerable future legal rights. I have signed this agreement freely, voluntarily, under no duress. My signature is proof of my intention to execute a complete and unconditional Waiver and Release of all liability to the full extent of the law.

By this waiver, I as a client, assume any risk, and take full responsibility and waive any claims of personal injury, death or damage to personal property associated with and/or sessions and events organized by AllysonBrooke Photography.
